normal,other one reflect the ischemia.
Gadolinium passing through the
capillary bed results in decreased T2 relaxation time, seen as a drop in signal
intensity that then returns to normal as the contrast passes out of the
capillary bed. The normal tissue
demonstrates an earlier decline in signal intensity and a greater overall
decrease in signal intensity than the ischemic region.
